Hi, I’m Abigail! Photographer, empath, story-lover, and big-time golden hour chaser. Rooted in Springfield, Illinois. but always ready to wander. i travel for photoshoots near and far, wherever your story unfolds! I specialize in capturing real, emotional, joy-filled moments. Whether it’s the quiet in-between glances or the loud, love-soaked laughter.

My love for photography started when I was just a kid, running around with a camera and taking way too many pictures of my friends and the sky. Before 2014, life seemed simpler, but that year was a turning point for me. In January, I lost my grandmother to cancer. In August, my beloved dog passed away. Then, on October 25th, 2014, my best friend, Danielle Allen, tragically lost her life in a car accident caused by a drunk driver. Danielle and I shared countless adventures together. We'd venture into the woods with my camera in tow, where she would willingly model for me. I remember the day she almost slipped into a creek while trying to climb a fallen tree limb for a unique shot. It was a moment of both fear and laughter. We'd lose track of time in those woods, only returning home when the dinner text came through. That shoot wasn’t just about pretty pictures, it was about freezing a feeling in time. I still think about that session, and about her, every time I raise my camera.

Since then, I’ve photographed everything from cozy family sessions, babies being born, volleyball games, boudoir, and high-school seniors to small elopements, and I approach every shoot with that same heart: to create images that feel like you. Messy hair, real laughter, wind in your dress, dirt on your boots—all of it. I’m here for the real stuff!! When I’m not behind the lens, I’m probably sipping an iced coffee, dreaming up a road trip, or chasing around my toddler. I believe in the magic of everyday life and the power of photos to remind us that it was always beautiful, even in the chaos.
